I was playing in a slo-pitch game between two teams of graduate students --- medical students vs nuclear physicists. A certain young lady came with two room mates on a man hunt. One was successful. That was in the summer of 1972.

He was dating my friend. He went to a different high school and in Trigonometry class my friend turned around and said, "You HAVE to meet my new boyfriend." That was a mistake on her part. He took an interest in me and they broke up but he didn't get the courage to ask her for my phone number until his graduation months later. We dated for 6 years and have been married for 30 years.
