Whether it's a celebrity or an acquaintance from everyday life, when you hear that someone has converted from Christianity to another religion, how does it make you feel? 🤔 What do you do? Do you pray for them? Do you periodically check to see if they returned back to Christianity?

I feel sad that they turned away from God's love, mercy and salvation. I also pray that it's temporary and that Satan didn't win the soul, but as for keeping in touch, I have found that some of my friends who turn away get a little hostile in their replies. It's as if their personalities suddenly change as well.

If it's someone I know I'd just keep talking to them. No need to specifically ask the question, "So, did you come back to Jesus yet?" because that sort of question just gets annoying. I wouldn't see a need to stop associating with them and, if the relationship is appropriate, I'll get an ongoing idea what they are thinking simply because friends talk about stuff.

If it's someone I don't know then I won't follow it at all. It's the sort of thing that might show up in the media but in general I have little interest in what celebrities are doing. I don't particularly follow any aspect of their lives because it makes no difference to my life.
