When opening Christmas presents, do you just rip them open, or do you carefully unwrap as to not try to rip the paper?

Sometimes I rip things open. Other times I go for the high precision approach, looking to take the paper off so cleanly you could reuse every square inch the paper to wrap something else and nobody would be any the wiser.
