AW, it's hard for me too... Last time he went away it was for two weeks, but when I finally saw him at the airport, I started shaking and crying (I NEVER cry!) and could not let him go. This time is only for a week, so that's good. And hopefully we never have to be apart again.
Lamb, you've got some great ideas! I'm going to get some primer and paint, and paint all our inside doors while he's away. That will likely take two evenings, and I'll go out for coffee with me best friend one evening. Then it will be payday, and I think I'll go to the Value Village and see if I can't find some pretty new blouse to wear when I pick him up...and I'll do some beauty pampering - not that anything will help at this point. I'm beyond help LOL! And then my mom will be coming to town. Oh, and some time in all that I have to go shopping for my son's birthday gift and make him a cake.
I'll make sure I stay busy...and at work I will be preparing for the new role I am anticipating before long. Hopefully this week will go by fast, but even more than that, hopefully this week will be very successful for IDay. He's got a huge week in front of him!
