Whats a good prayer for sleep?

I have insomnia and i just cant sleep, when i do its very short and weird vivid dreams. Whats a good prayer to give me peace at night? Thank you

It's rarely that I can't fall asleep. Normally I lay my head down and sleep within 5 mins. Used to lay awake for hours.
Oh now I remember how I came out of it. They first put me on tranquilizers but I quitted w that and then it should be even harder to fall asleep, but if I couldn't sleep I just prayed in tongues til I fell asleep.

Ah this guy says it too. If he can't sleep he gets up and prays.
I don't think it matters what you pray for. I just pray in tongues for lost souls mainly.

Try reading First Chronicles starting at chapter one. You will fall asleep I think.

Luther had an evening prayer that sort of is along the same lines of what I pray each night

I thank You, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son, that You have graciously kept me this day; and I pray You to forgive me all my sins where I have done wrong, and graciously keep me this night. Have you prayed that the demons be kept far from you such as Dear Lord, watch over me as I sleep and keep the demons away so that my body gets the rest that it so desperately needs and send your angels to watch over and protect me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

My mom couldn't fall asleep cause she gets pills and then she couldn't get up in time for church on sunday. She's 82. I said: oh I'll help you out. So now every saturday the 3 liitle screamers play there. At the end of the day she's completely exhausted and falls asleep at 10 and the next day she's in time for church. She's so happy to have such a caring daughter.
