We all agree that we should be LOVING.

But what IS loving?
Is it LOVING to be patient and accepting? No matter what?
Is it LOVING to correct error when we see it? No matter how unpopular?

Is there a SEASON for each? How do we know when it is time for which?

Interesting questions.

What's loving to me isn't going to be loving to someone else and I guess it's because we're viewing through a sinful lens.

For Christians I guess it would mean "Godly" or "Charitable".. since God is Love and the spirit of charity is a gift from God.

To love or to be "loving" in the carnal sense can range from having selfless compassion for others, being friendly, being nice, being civil to being selfish, being disingenuous, being lustful or obsessive etc... a mother can love her child to death, an addict can love their drugs to death... some people love baseball.. it's a rather loose word all together.

One thing is certain from my experience, only God can transform a hateful heart, when I see an old friend or a relatives demeanor turn a 180 for the better seemingly out of no where.. they always bear a wonderful testimony of Jesus Christ coming into their lives.
