Consider this in the light of "Seek and you will find" and it sort of is like granting your own wishes, just not in the popular idea of waving a magic wand and KERPOOF it appears from nothing.

That's funny-- because I've never heard it that way before (even being a horse-man). I've always heard the expression 'If wishes were fishes' (we'd all cast nets) -meaning that we'd all take as many wishes as we could. I think that's the thought behind @jesus lover 's original post, and in terms of your response, it really is a wish you could grant true without even employing that proverbial magic wand.

Going around helping others requires nothing you don't have already. Wish granted!
