In context with the rest of the chapter, Instead of saying you are going to do such and such, you should add "Lord wiling" as we do not know what tomorrow brings.
An example from my life is a few years ago, we had traveled for a convention. Plans of mine while my husband was a delegate was to attend portions of the convention, hang out with people I knew and maybe some sight seeing. Instead, I was in the hospital with a previous undiagnosed heart condition for half of it.

Working for God, speaking through God's Holy Spirit, I started to use the word "may" a lot. I am referencing The Power of the Tongue.

In an understanding of The Power of the Tongue, and speaking through God's Holy Spirit, we have to be careful with our words. Given I was to say "I will go to town tomorrow," am I given prophecy? Did I have permission to give that prophecy over myself? I am trying to tie up God? May is different. "I may go to town tomorrow." (If God wills it.) It is leaving it up to God. The Lord is a shepherd.
