I did several illicit drugs in my youth and even tried shooting Heroin. It gives you a body calm but it is far from the euphoria that it is portrayed in some movies. Anyway, I had a very bad experience with it, not overdosing, but doing too much, and it was the opposite of relaxation. My head pounded pain more than I can ever remember and I felt nauseous. That was enough, never again.

I quit watching corporate television because of all the lies and advertising.

I quit eating all animal products almost 5 years ago for health and ethical reasons.

I dropped my fair share of acid as a young man and am not interested in doing this again.

I quit using toilet paper. Bidet serves me well and saves me $$.

I used to play guitar, but pretty much gave it up for the keyboard.

We quit having a landline when we moved 8 years ago to the house we live in now. We use our cell phones and sometimes I don't get good service in some rooms, so I also have a Google Voice number for family to use when they really need to reach me.

Quit smoking in 1979.

Quit alcohol somewhere in the past 30 years, that is I cut my intake down to minuscule levels and since the past 10 years or so have zero desire for alcohol.

Quit television in 1989.

Quit believing evolution in 1984.

Quit riding motorcycles in 1985.

Quit the Lutheran Church in 2019.

Quit doing 3000-mile oil changes probably 15 to 20 years ago.

I could probably list a lot more but have to go.
