What are your thoughts on the Kyle Rittenhouse trial?

I heard that the Jury found him guilty on all charges. But the judge sent them home because he wasn’t pleased with the verdict.

It seems pretty simple to me. There was a mob of troublemakers, destroying, looting, burning, and vandalizing. Kyle was cleaning graffiti off the walls afterwards as a good kid serving his community. Then he brought his rifle to defend a business, at the business owner’s request. Others brought their rifles too. And when he was attacked by the mob, he defended himself.

I mean, it just seems so blatantly obvious that he’s the good guy, and the ones he shot were the bad guys.

What do you think?

The kid was doing the governments job, he was defending the welfare and lively hood of a community under attack.

Regardless of whether he was asking for trouble by carrying a rifle ..past curfew... he defended himself from armed, violent attackers and was faced with the threat of having his gun taken and used on him, the boy would have been dead if he hadn't have fired his weapon... and the media would have praised the brave peaceful BLM protestors for stopping a white supremacist trump supporting mass shooter.

I think the Mass Media and the President himself declared him guilty.....

Both incited the mob to violence if he was not declared guilty on all points....

So much for law, for courts, for the foundational principle of "innocent until proven guilty IN A COURT OF LAW."

Perhaps the jury sees their "duty" as having nothing to do with innocence or guilt, but the prevention of rioting, property destruction and killing. As the High Priest said of Jesus, "It is better that one man die in stead of the whole nation." A young man, not important, let him rot in prison.... better than hundreds dying in the streets because they've been told by an unaccountable Media and the President that this man is guilty and must burn or cities will.

So much for the Rule of Law, for the courts, for the foundational principle of "innocent until proven guilty IN A COURT OF LAW." Liberals will declare guilty and innocence...the mass media will promote this and incite the mob to act if the courts don't agree.

I think it’s clear that Kyle Rittenhouse is a white supremacist. Because everyone he shot was white. So that proves he’s racist.

I haven't followed the case very closely but it's shocking that it's okay to loot and riot and carry a gun if you're there to loot and riot but if you're there for any other reason then you need to go to jail? I mean, 2nd Amendment rights out the door? Whether or not he protected himself, well, most gun owners I know don't carry in order to kill, they carry in order to defend/protect. In fact, all gun owners I know aren't carrying just so they can kill.
