It wasn't "my" lucky break, but my husband was able to get a job within the same company after they shut down the Chicago office. He tried to get a job in Chicago for almost a year and no one would even set up an interview, so that was difficult for us. Moving away was life changing, but we were able to continue to have health care, feed our family and I even got a job within the same company to help pay for my daughter's college.
