Water Damage

I dropped my phone in hot, salty water while I was soaking my feet after a long day at work standing. As soon as I noticed, I fished the smartphone out of the water but it was too late. The device was still working but most of its features weren't. The speakers were unclear, the battery wasn't charging, and I experienced lag too. I decided to buy a second-hand iPhone 6, 124GB for £150.00.

Has anyone else done something similar to this?
