Hi, I'm Jaz. Not actually Christian however my mother (Jules) is. I joined because she likes to read peoples views and has questions herself. but is a bit of a technophobe when it comes to forums. She's gone back to Christianity after about 16 years of Paganism. She could never find the right pantheon. Unlike me. She was also not happy with not have a building to worship with other people. I think in her heart she was always Christian but could never find the right church so tried out Paganism, and got me into it.
Anyway. I joined because she likes to read peoples views and has questions herself. but is a bit of a technophobe when it comes to forums.
I also like to read into things but won't be converted. She's tried many times
Anyway abit about me seeing as I signed up under my name.
I went to church as a kid, deep down I always believed in more that one god. But I went none the less as back then I didn't understand it. Me, mum and stepdad went to several local churches. Some wouldn't accept Nigel being my stepdad, Others went so over the top with praying and telling him god will make him walk again we just need to pray harder . My step dad is brain damaged from motorbike accident, he will never walk again. And he got so angry with them, he didn't want to go anymore so me and mum just went.
I stopped going to church around my early teens. Everyone I went to I didn't feel part of it.
In 2003 mum introduced me to Paganism she had been reading up on. 2005 I started practising Heathenry and never looked back.
