U.S. Wins First Place at International Mathematics Competition in Hong Kong

This is the second year in a row that the top high school mathletes of the U.S. have won this prestigious event. :thumbsup:

Two of the six members of the team achieved perfect scores on the test! :arms:

Maybe once USA people get to a good school or to University they receive a good education?

This is a high school competition, but yes our universities do a better job that our primary/secondary system. I also suspect the kids in the competition receive a great deal of encouragement and prodding at home as well.

Yes, we hear so much about how poorly our students compare academically with the students of other nations; it's nice for something like this to come along.
