My concern with Cruz, for what it's worth, is that he seems very closely tied to dominionism and the NAR. For me that alone is enough to be wary of him. The last thing I want to see is someone who believes they have some kind of divine mandate to take over the earth.

It's really hard to say. From my (admittedly limited) exposure to the US political scene it seems far more likely that Hillary will get the Dem nomination than Bernie, and I rather get the impression that Hillary is just as polarising a figure as Trump.

I think what the country really needs is a leader who can at least begin to bridge the widening divide between the major parties. It would also be nice to see election media focussing on why I should vote one way rather than why I shouldn't vote the other way. But it can be fun to see how much of the telephone canvasser's time I can waste before explaining to them that it doesn't really matter because I don't get a vote anyway.

U.S. Politics are absolutely polarizing, with that said Not all Republicans will vote for Trump but Dems will vote for Hillary, plus I think more independents will vote Hillary over Trump.

We Republicans started out with a very good slate of excellent candidates. In a process that I guess I'm just not getting.... one by one.... they all fell out. I like Kasich but he has NO CHANCE and I don't know why he's still playing the game. I'm not very happy with Cruz and I don't think he can win but I could vote for him and I don't think he'd be SO bad as to destroy the Republican majority in both houses and the majority of governor spots - just loose the White House and destroy the Supreme Court by Hilary appointing several judges. I find Trump deeply disturbing, troubling, frightening. And it REALLY scares me that so many are attracted to him (WHAT the _____ is going on there????!!!!!!????????). I cannot vote for him (but of course, cannot vote for Hilary either - although it won't matter, she'll win, perhaps every state there is).

You should not put personal bias into what is supposed to be a legitimate poll. Trump has FAR more delegates than the other candidates. So, if Trump's name cannot be included, neither should anyone else's. Otherwise you are being silly and rendering your own poll to be invalid.

As for Trump blowing up the party -- not a chance. It is the party star chamber elite that already has the party half blown up because of its refusal to oppose Obama and, instead, helping pass his plans. And, if they try to oppose the people's votes, THEY will have finished blowing up the party.

As for the Dems in the general election, I very seriously suspect that Hillary is not going to be around as a candidate when November arrives. Her criminal activity is either going to weigh her down too much to continue, or a prosecution recommendation for that activity will be issued by the FBI. Either way will destroy her candidacy.

And I doubt that the nation will vote for a 75 year-old avowed socialist as the Dem candidate.

But, getting back to your survey, i would suggest dissolving it if you cannot include the man most likely to win the nomination.

Id' rather not see Donald Trump as the Republican candidate, he is a very dangerous man. No one should give him any chance to exercise political power in high elected office.

I doubt Trump would win - his negatives (even among Republicans) are FAR too high. The "fear" is that he won't only loose, but the loss will run down the rest of the ticket so that Republicans loose both houses and the present majority of governors. Polls suggest Cruz at least has a chance, but probably won't win either - but some think he will do far less damage to the rest of the ticket.... and since it's now him or Trump, some are rallying behind Cruz, increasing his odds (still a long shot) that he'll get the nomination (if only by Convention action).

I'm one of those conservative/Republican voters who will not vote for Trump. But THAT won't keep me from voting, I'll still go to vote the rest of the ballot.

What I regret MOST about the future Presidentess Clinton is she'll get a chance to nomination 2 or 3 Supreme Court judges.... for LIFE. And in the modern USA, the real power is in the Supreme Court. With the ages of several judges being way up there, she'll create an uber liberal court for decades. But Trump - being such a loose cannon - who knows who he could appoint!!!! Maybe much worse.
