Trump sues US government over FBI search of Mar-a-Lago
They had a warrant and found what they were looking for. Where would this even go?
If they found what they were looking for that doesn't necessarily mean what it might imply.
I read an article recently explaining how, when a former president moves out of the White House, typically their personal possessions are gathered up by a team of movers and it's far from rare for things that shouldn't be included to be included in error. Then what happens is someone asks the former president to return the items (or the former president discovers the items), and the items are returned.
On a loosely related note it's funny how the FBI can get involved where Trump is concerned but where Hillary's emails and Hunter's laptop are concerned the story is "move along, nothing to see here".
