Have you seen the new trend of the tiny houses? Have you seen the pics?

I think they're really cute but I'd only live in one if I were single.

Would you live in one of those houses? Off the grid?

I think it would be a great idea for parents who have grown kids who want to move back home. Just throw them in the back yard in the tiny house. LOL.

YOU READ MY MIND!! I laugh and tell my husband our daughter can have a little house in our back yard! It's big enough and then she can have her separation! If she wants to pay rent...well, that is a perk LOL

I don't want to live in a tiny house, I like a bit of space.

I'd be happy to get mostly off the grid if it were easier. I've often thought about a house in the woods that's mostly powered by either hydroelectric or solar, and insulated well enough that a relatively small log fire would keep it adequately warmed.

I'd love solar panels. I'm not sure how well they generate energy compared to other resources and if it's worth the initial cost. When I was little the government gave grants for people to test solar panels on their houses and my friends signed up for it. I never asked them about it since I was so young!
