I used to believe in the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy, and yes Santa.
My dad used to tell me to wash in between my toes or my toes would fall off, that was scary lol
A lady at school told me my teacher will chew me up and spit me out, I took it very literally
My sister would pick on me by saying my room was haunted, one time she acted like she was possessed and said "I'm not really your sister, she's dead" lol oh my...
The thing that scared me the most was my dad watching Nostradamus and I believed that he really did see into the future and that the end of the world was just a few years away, I was legitimately frightened for years and if I saw a meteorite burning to pieces in the atmosphere (I used to see them so much as a kid) my heart would drop and i'd start crying :(

When I was a kid we believed World War 3 would happen very soon.

We believed every TV commercial.

I remember believing the last day of earth was at the end of the calendar, December 31st, because there wasn't another page and no more days.
I wondered if my toy GI Joes would move around the house when we weren't there like Toy Story. I thought the pressure cooker was just moments away from blowing up.
I always felt bad of those towns that would get decimated by Godzilla and glad it wasn't near me.
Sort of like my GI Joes, I loved going to the museum of natural history but I thought the animals would come alive when no one was there aka Night at the Museum.
I didn't grow up believing in the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, or Santa. I knew of them, but my parents never told me they were real.
