Fallen mankind can be incredibly cruel. No matter saved or not. Being saved does help, (Ps. 74:20), but not in certain situations.
Once pushed beyond a certain line, man offers no mercy. David knew it. (2 Sam. 24:14) But with God, even in judgement, there is mercy.
All of mankind are scary. And the most scary are those who do not know the Lord. And of them, those of Ham's descendants are the most scary. For they are under the constant judgement of God. (Gen. 9:24-27)
