What do you think of Senate passing the Climate Change bill?
These climate change bills are going up elsewhere around the world around this time, not just the USA. So it appears to be a coordinated effort, especially among UN member nations.
As for the specifics, I don't know, yet. What I do believe is that these types of legislation are usually less about the so called problem and more about controlling the masses in one way or another.
As for so called "climate change" itself (formerly known as "global warming"), I don't and have never believed in the scaremongering. Anyone who understands the basics of the Carbon Cycle understands that it doesn't just accumulate in the atmosphere. Plants take it up. All plants. In fact anyone who has ever tried to grow a plant in a very enclosed space usually finds out that the growth will be stunted unless some CO2 is added (which can be done by simple fermentation in the area).
Governments love bogeymen. Bogeymen gives them excuses to take/exercise power over the masses that otherwise would never be tolerated.
