Which wife of Jacob, Leah and Rachel, was the loved?

Which one was the choice of God for Jacob?

Now Jacob loved Rachel. Gen 29:13
And Jacob served seven years for Rachel, but they seemed to him only a few days because of the love he had for her. Gen 29:20
Rachel was his natural choice. When his natural choice died, Benjamin came forth. Benjamin means Son of My right hand - this represents Christ. When we die to our natural choice, Christ can come forth.

Leah was God’s choice. She is also the one buried in the cave of Macpelah along with Jacob. Gen 49:31. Gen 50:13

I agree with your presentation.

Isn't it strange how our choice is not always God's choice?

In the end, Jacob, I believe, recognized it, which is why he buried Leah with Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, etc., in the cave of Macpelah.

So much there. God lets us move with our choices, though they may not be His choices. But our choices never override His will. He will have His will done in our lives. And in the end, we like Jacob, come to recognize it.

And, welcome to the forum.
