Teaching little one about the Bible

If you're expecting a baby, when you talk to him or her include verses from the Holy Bible. If you have older kids, they can recite their memory verses to their baby sister or brother Or you can tell the baby about Jesus when you are feeding him/her, bathing him/her and the like. That way the baby learns about the Bible from an early age.

Some people I know didn't teach their kids about religion. They let them decide if they wanted to be religious or not when they were grown. They have very nice kids I must say.

My parents (and older sister) SANG to me (even before I was born)..... sang "Jesus songs" (as they call them) - Christian songs intended especially for little children. Jesus Loves Me. I am Jesus' Little Lamb. That sort of thing...

The LCMS publishes LOTS of short Bible story books aimed at pre-schoolers called Arch Books. They are very popular and quite inexpensive. There must be 100 or so titles.

I had Arch books when I was a kid! I loved them so much.

I had a lot of children's CDs for my daughter when she was growing up, plus the Lutheran church uses scripture for their hymns so I would sing a lot and she would hear God's Word.
