Sounds like the worker got what they deserved. I don't suppose there would be much controversy over it had they written a racial slur on a black customer's wrapper or "cripple" on a wheelchair user's meal, for example.
If you really want to insult your customers at least have the sense to do it in private. I'd love to know what this worker thought was going to happen.
