Have you ever had a sunburn that was so bad you couldn't even wear a shirt?

I'm very light skinned, blonde/blue, and so VERY easily burn. And I practically lived at the beach when I was a kid, and during the summer, rarely wore a shirt. BUT I LIVED with sunscreen (lots of thick hair helped, too). I never went outside without lots of it. I just smelled of sunscreen! And so no, never got a serious sunburn. One exception: I evidently forgot about my feet one time and got a really bad one there.

As a child I burned really badly if I wasn't careful. One time when the sunburn started to weep I needed my parents to help me get out of bed because I was stuck to the sheets.

These days I burn a lot less, but wear something to protect my head now my hair isn't thick enough to do the job any more.
