I've been watching the class lectures on Proverbs on biblicaltraining.com site and Bruce Waitke talks about Proverbs 1-9 and how Solomon contrasts wisdom who he personifies as a woman and the adulterous woman. Solomon warns his son to stay away from the wayward woman and to follow his commands. I find it ironic that Solomon did not heed his own advice and had 300 concubines and 700 wives. His wives it says ended up leading him astray and he ended up worshipping idols and sacrificing to Molech.
