A snow blower doesn't work very well on my driveway. It's not all that big so when it snows we share the shoveling work with next door. It's a shared driveway, with our houses close by so running a blower just means throwing snow at one of the houses.
If we get a huge dumping of snow one of the neighbors has a blower that he lets us use, and his price for usage is that we clear his driveway with it as well. On the days we get that much snow it's a price worth paying, especially since it's the neighbor who shares our driveway who usually does the clearing. He runs the blower and we clear up the sections he can't get at with the blower.
