Yesterday I met up with my daughter's roommate and we went to a state park so she could train for an upcoming marathon. Then we went out for lunch, which was really breakfast since the cafe only serves breakfast on weekends. Afterwards, I drove her to the bus stop and then went home.

Should I have waited for her to get on the bus? It was day time, in front of a gas station and people were walking around the town.

In a situation like that it doesn't sound like you left her in a vulnerable position. It's not like you dumped her in an abandoned part of a dodgy area in the dark.

I thought you were going to ask: Should I of waited for her to finish the marathon?

I don’t think you have that obligation.
