For every day I have a cheap pair of shoes I bought at WalMart that look like Sketchers and have memory foam inside so they're comfy!

For hiking/walking I have a pair of cabela's brand shoes that are waterproof and I'm still breaking them in so they're not as comfortable for longer miles like my last pair.

I usually wear New Balance. They just fit my arches better than other shoes. My favorite, just for the name, are Karhu. They're Finnish running shoes.
A fun fact about Karhu...the Finnish company originally had a three stripe symbol for their shoes. They sold it for a case of whiskey...to a new company called...Adidas. Wonder who got the better end of that transaction?

I struggle to find Adidas shoes any more. It's a shame because the last pair of Adidas I had seemed to last forever. I ran in them, walked in them, cycled in them, hiked in them, I have no idea how many miles I put on them in all sorts of conditions and they just kept on going. Sure, they looked old, because they were. After something like seven years of abuse they finally gave up the ghost and fell apart to the point I couldn't wear them any more.

Sketchers are garbage. I had two pairs fail catastrophically on me within less than six months of light use - no running, no hiking or even muddy walking, no cycling, just light walking on forgiving surfaces. I reached out to Sketchers to see what they would do about it, and the only option they offered was for me to return them (at my expense) so they could decide whether or not they had failed. Shortly after I got that useless response a pair of Sketchers my wife had had for less than a year failed on her. So I made sure to let Sketchers know that the only time I'd ever buy any of their products ever again would be if I suffered a major head injury.

I don't care for Nike. Even before the silliness with Colin Kaepernick I thought they were overpriced and overrated. Now I have two pairs of New Balance. One is a somewhat scabby pair that I use for walking and working, the other is a nicer (newer) pair that I wear when I want to be a little more presentable. And I've got my old pair of Asics that I had before them, which are now about three years old and the soles have all but collapsed.

I only really wear Nike trainers. I have a few other brands but I don't wear them as frequently (Timberlands and a pair of Armani trainers).

I have too many shoes to say that I wear any one brand, but I guess for work (office) I wear Rockport, they are comfy dress shoes, I normally don't wear the same shoes more than a couple of days a week. For working, outside the office I have several pair of work boots, my Skecher work boots are my favorite. My athletic shoes I have New Balance and Nike, but I don't wear outside only to run or workout but I have Speedo Surfwalkers for running on the beach... I have casual shoes for going shopping or out for a quick bite to eat. My biking shoes have clips on them so I can't walk very far in them, I have to clip into my bike pedals. Today I'm wearing black Nunn Bush, it's casual Friday in the office.

I wear Ecco sandals for daily wear. For work, I wear a Saucony walking shoe. I prefer to go barefoot when at home.

I forgot cycling shoes, as you say having clips in them makes them impractical to walk. At least the recessed SPD style can be used for walking (just as well on sustained hills), while the bulkier styles more associated with road bikes make it much harder to walk in them.
