I have a Sears brand sewing machine and it suits my needs for my simple sewing projects. I tried doing quilting once, but it kept bunching up the fabric. Years later, a friend told me I needed a different presserfoot. I had no idea. I haven't tried it again because I don't want to go through all the expense and time. I like quick projects really and I get into modes where I'll crochet for a month and then move on to sewing for a month and then something totally different.

I have 2 Bernina sewing machines. Right now, I rarely use them, but I have times i use them everyday. Mainly quilting.
