Colossians 3:1-3 1"Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 [a]Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3 For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God."

what does it mean to you to set your mind on things above and to keep seeking things above?

Colossians 3:1-3 1"Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 [a]Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3 For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God."

what does it mean to you to set your mind on things above and to keep seeking things above?

In Ephesians 2:4-7, Paul has this long sentence.
"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—*and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,*so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus."
Colossians 3:1 is often translated "Since you have been raised up with Christ..." This fits with Paul's statement that God raised us up with Christ and seated us in the heavenlies in Christ.
The idea is often expressed as "Already, but not yet" since Paul speaks of our position as a past tense action by God, yet we are looking forward to the future reality.
So, we are to claim our position now, even though we will not actualize it until we die and are brought home.

It's in the rest of the text within Colossians the answer about set your mind on things above because we shouldn't be living according to our earthly nature that consumes us and we have the holy spirit living with us so we should act like we have him. Colossians 3:5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
