People like story telling. The 1968 "little drummer boy" production is very sentimental, sweet, and well pitched for children and adults alike. It tells a story about greed, hate, and love with Christ at the centre but only for a moment. How very much like us it is. Christ takes pride of place every once in a while and when he does he heals and comforts. Nevertheless he is the impetus for love and goodness in all the faithful.

Ooh, that's one of the shows I haven't seen this Christmas yet!! I'll have to watch it again since it's been years.
