How are you preparing for your retirement? If you have already retired do you feel you prepared well enough? Care to offer advice? :thumbsup:

I am retired and no I was not prepared. My advice is to save while young. Sett aside even if it is only 10 dollars.

I used to think the same way and the truth is that if I had tried I could have set aside at least that. Many people spend that much on coffee

We are facing retirement in just a few years and we have not done nearly enough. Trying to do some catching up now. It was very difficult in the early years with young children.

Is there an age now that is better for retirement? It used to be age 65 but people are finding the money isn't there now and are waiting a lot longer.

I know to get the full benefit from social security 70 is the age. You can get benefits at 62 but each year you delay addds more to your retirement until age 70 at which point it levels off.
