Without it you understand that you may not kill and such, although, it had a lot of influence and those laws were needed when people were barbarians, but nowadays an atheist also understands and teaches his kids that basic things are bad as killing, stealing, cheating and you have a conscience. Where religion makes a difference is sex before marriage is bad, remarriage except in some cases is bad and adultery and abortion. A lot of non christians think it's not human yet. Euthanasia. When we weren't christian my brother wrote an essay for my sister, who studied medicine, about euthanasia being wonderful and fabulous. After he got saved he said: How on earth did I write that?
