I've been to Puerto Rico twice..... The people are wonderful, the food is GREAT, it's a awesome place to be in the winter! But it is HARD TO BELIEVE this is part of the USA (even in a somewhat unusual sense). The general infrastructure is "third-world" and not surprising that storms and earthquakes do HORRIBLE damage and that repairs take forever. It's really sad.
