Ours is an HP Smart Tank. Instead of cartridges, there are tanks to fill with ink. The tanks last a long time and at the time we purchased it, the ink is less i the long run.

A color laserjet. I got a really good deal on it several years ago and since I don't print a huge amount it's still on the original color cartridges. The black cartridge lasted me something like six years. It's a wireless networked duplex printer/scanner/copier so about the only thing I'd like it to do that it doesn't do is print on larger paper. But a printer that does what this one does that also works with 17x11 paper runs to several thousand dollars, so it's cheaper to call my local print shop when I want something printed bigger.
