I have a praise and a prayer request: Here is an update from my sister in law: Update on my nephew from my sister: So we are here another night. We are seeing improvement. He is feeling better and he now is only having to be assisted a little with his oxygen. Cross your fingers that we will be released soon. Thank you everyone for the support. And I am so lucky to have a job that has been so supportive and understanding of the situation.

Two requests for me.

The first is for my wife and I as we continue to explore what we think is a calling. We have a meeting next week that will either open lots of doors or close them. Things have slowed because of the virus but God is bigger than the virus and, if this is truly a calling, it will happen one way or another even if it is frustrating along the way.

The other is for a friend. I can't really go into details on a public forum but he has some huge health issues (not COVID-19, thankfully) and is in an ICU. Obviously we're praying for his healing but also for peace for his wife and family.

I'm having a lot of right knee pain. I have seen the doctor and they did an x-ray but didn't find anything. The gel he gave me isn't helping. I may need an MRI for it to find out what is going on

Update on the two issues.

The first one I mentioned in another thread - my wife and I are approved as foster/adoptive parents. It feels like it's been a slog to get here but now we just need to wait for the right child to show up.

The second one also comes with good news. Our friend has improved substantially and is out of ICU. He still has a long way to go and is in rehab but at least he's on the mend. He could have some time in rehab.

My knees are hurting more this week too...is it because we keep having funky weather changes daily?

Please pray for my sister this Mother's Day as she will have a hard time with this holiday since our mother passed away in February. Of course I'm sad our mother is no longer with us but I'm happy she is with the Lord and not in pain and seriously not having to deal with this virus situation which would totally cause her stress. My sister is going to the cemetery today and that will hard on her.

I hit my knee against something when I was cleaning out our garage a few weeks ago and it has not felt right since then.

I'm having an MRI on my knee this Sunday afternoon to find out what is wrong

I was told today that I have a fracture in my knee and will need to be on crutches for the next month and will need to wear a brace.

I very much need God's guidance and peace as I am planning to separate from my husband. Many emotions, a lot of fear and guilt and worry, mixed in with hope and a desperate longing for His closeness and leading. Not to mention an extreme change in my living situation and finances, if and when this happens. God be with me <3
