Father in heaven, Thank you, Lord , that we can come to your throne of grace for help in time of need because of Jesus' great gift and sacrifice on our behalf.
You certainly are a great and merciful and loving Father, and we thank you for being our good shepherd as well, Lord.
And LordJesus, we know you said how much the good shepherd cares for His sheep, and that you would leave the 99 to go bring the one thats lost, and so we're trusting in that promise regarding Lamms' friend.
We don't always know the details, Lord, but we know we can trust you, and so we pray that you worked things out with Lamms' friend before closing his eyes, and that he is with you even now, and we leave that whole situation at your throne of grace.
We lift up Lamm and her friends family, for your grace and comfort, and for reassurance in your resurrection, and your promise that says because you live, we shall live also.
Sometimes life is really hard, Lord, and sometimes in this fallen world, the heaviness of despair is too much for some, and they see no hope. Help us, Lord, to be better communicators of your love and the good news of the free gift of salvation found in Christ alone.
Help us to show others that your goodness and mercy is for all, we need only come to Jesus and receive it by faith. Our hope and security is in you, Lord, and we thank you that even in these tragic circumstances, you are there.
Bless Lamm in this time, Lord, we thank her for her faithfulness and dedication on this site, and we thank you for having us in the body of Christ, with brothers and sisters we can share with and receive encouragement from, as we see your day approaching. May their sorrow be quickly turned to joy, Lord, because of your heavenly gift and promise.
We give you all the praise and glory, Lord, thank you for promising to never leave us or forsake us, and thank you that even though some times we are faithless, you are ever-faithful. Thank you for your grace and comfort, in Jesus' precious name we pray. Amen
