How do your pets do around fireworks? My dog was terrified of fireworks and I used to be in the basement with her on the 4th of July with the TV on high. My daughter's dog is okay with them but she gets aggravated that she can't sleep because of the noise. She tries to tell my daughter to make them stop so she can sleep!

My cat doesn't like loud bangs but aside from that if we don't show signs of being bothered he's OK. One of the few useful things my area has done recently is introduced a new requirement to get a permit to launch fireworks. Sometimes it was fun to sit on the porch and watch the different firework displays but it did get tedious hearing an endless succession of bangs that went on all night.

I personally can't wait until they start using more drones for a light display instead of fireworks.
