I don't think, I should be able to post a topic in the "Site News" section. Shouldn't members only have the ability to add replies?

We don't have it set up that way and that's okay. Our members are pretty good about not starting threads here and if they do we'll move them to the appropriate area.

We could always fix it, but then it’s never been an issue and with its placement in the forum itself, many people understand this is an administrative section.
