The belief in Ouija boards varies widely. Some people believe that Ouija boards can be used to communicate with spirits or the supernatural, while others view them as a game or a psychological phenomenon. There is no scientific evidence to support the idea that Ouija boards can actually communicate with spirits, and many experts attribute the movement of the planchette to the ideomotor effect, where subconscious movements of the participants guide its motion. Ultimately, whether Ouija boards are considered real or fake depends on individual beliefs and perspectives.

Do you view them as a game or a psychological phenomenon?

Science could never provide evidence that the spirit world exists period. It doesn't have the tools. It can only deal with the physical, the material.

The Ouija board was created to assist in seance's contact with the supernatural spirit world. As a Christian, I view them as very dangerous. It is not a way to find God. The spirit world it connects with would be the demonic. And the Christian has no business contacting demons.

Ones 'beliefs' do not change whether the spirit world exists or not. And if one sits down in a seance with a Quija board to possibly contact the spirit world, he has opened his spirit up by his will. And he may well contact the spirit world. And he may conjur up something he didn't bargin for, and can not get rid of.
