What do you usually do with old things (electronics, clothes) in good condition that you no longer use?
Usually by the time I'm done with electronics nobody else would want them (I'm typing this on an Android tablet that's almost 9 years old).
By the time I'm done with clothes I've usually worn through them to the point they aren't really wearable any more, so they either go in the trash or if I know someone looking for material they get a free supply. Where I used to live it was easy to recycle fabrics so they went in the recycling.
It's pretty rare for me to stop using something that's still in good condition. The only times I can think of is when I lost enough weight that some of my clothes were way too big for me. They weren't worth anything meaningful so I gave them to a friend who was the size I used to be.
