Radical atheists bring up the point that OT laws seemed to harsh for them and they wouldn't worship the Hebrew God, even if he did exist.
Anyway, though, it is true nothing changed from the OT to the new. Jesus was not a kinder, gentler Jehovah. This is a point a lot of Christians miss.
Well, do you feel OT laws were too harsh or are we not looking at the context? Nonetheless, I suspect context didn't matter. Do you feel Christians would install a Taliban society in the United States, for instance, if given free reign?
