It felt like the whole night last night I was dreaming of the town I was in being built up. Construction was everywhere. I heard myself say in the dream that the church I was in was going to start doing more service with the homeless and food panties and other service items. Big buildings were going up all over town. When I looked it up on a dream dictionary it says that it means

May symbolize personal or spiritual development.
* May symbolize new goals and the energy needed to build on them.
* May represent the 'process' of building relationships, projects, ideas, or goals.
* May symbolize making plans.
* May represent rebuilding your life after a major setback or transition.
* May symbolize inner changes are underway.

It is true that I am starting a new job in January. Do you remember your dreams? Do you try to interpret them? Do you sometimes have odd dreams and wake up and go "Wow, where did that come from LOL like I do?"

A few of your latest threads focused on bearing fruit...it's possible this has weighed on your mind in dreamworld too?

I have really amazing dreams! Very lucid and in color. I remember so many of them and I think interpretation would be impossible for many of them. Sometimes I'll have dream series with variations of the same types of dreams. When I was a teen I dreamed often of my closet allowing me to go into other worlds. They were such cool dreams! I consider myself an explorer somewhat because when I hike I love going off the main paths onto the smaller ones or deer trails. So having dreams where I can explore is a thrill.

I guess it is possible. I have started helping out with the men's group I attend leading the discussions and also going to be starting getting involved in the life care ministry at the church. Also, with starting a new job January 2nd I think it will be a better position for me overall

I think that you're going to be happier at your new job. :) Hopefully your dreams are encouraging you and not making you fearful.

Sometimes I remember them. Sometimes the meanings are obvious to me. Sometimes the meanings are not so obvious.

I'd be super careful with dream interpretation, and people who claim to do dream interpretations. They can be highly subjective, manipulative and biased.

According to Joseph, three always means three days...
That's really the only interpretations I will allow, but I never really count in my dreams so it might never be used.

I don't remember odd dreams. I remember I had one today and immediately forgot a second layer. When it's from God He wakes me up or gives me just before I wake up. This one was also just before I woke up but immediately gone.
I used to get a lot of dreams from God. I should pray em out. Nice to see your whole office saved but I need to pray it out.

Used to be on cf dream forums and they quit that. Then another dream forum. Too much ppl talking nonsense. One guy was spot on w the interpretation though. He really had the gift to interprete. He said God told him I had to go w the man called James in the time I posted dreams when I had no clue to which church to go to. Guy didnt know me. James is my ex.

When I do remember my dreams they are always in full color and usually a lot of detail. Often I can control what happens in my dream world, at least to an extent.

Sometimes my dreams are such that I really wish I could go back to sleep and pick up where I left off. Sometimes they are just surreal. I vaguely remember a dream I had some time ago where I was trying to find a bathroom, in a building where it seemed practically every other room was a bathroom but every single one of them had a reason why it wasn't suitable. I remember being barefoot in the dream (no idea why!) and one bathroom having a floor so unpleasant I refused to walk on it, another being blocked and backed up, another having no privacy at all and in a busy area, and so on.

Another strange dream I had involved the house I live in now. I had the dream between the time my wife inherited it and the time we decided to make it our home. In the dream it was the same house but, as the dream progressed, so it became more and more surreal. It was as if every time I explored the house some aspects of it changed, including finding a section I didn't know about with huge holes in the roof (but in parts so they let in the cold and all sorts of animals, but didn't let in the rain), and stairways from upstairs to ground level with doors that couldn't be locked, to doors that went through the motions of locking only to find they would still just push open from outside, and so on. I haven't found anything quite like that in the house since doing my renovations but, given the assorted quirks and things I have found, I do sometimes wonder if the dream was trying to tell me something.

I tend to be somewhat skeptical of books that claim to interpret dreams, usually because they are so vague they seem to do little more than throw out a load of ideas to see what sticks. In your example about what buildings may represent the line "may represent personal or spiritual development" looks like the kind of catch-all that could match just about anything in anyone's life and if it doesn't there are a few other things that are fairly generic that probably would catch something.
