Basically, words are being interpreted differently causing some to believe annihilation, eternal punishment, or some kind of universal reconciliation, mind you, with maybe a lot of harsh corrective punishment.
Now, as for some belief stating all ways lead to Christ. That would be general Universalism, not Christian Universalism - and that cannot be correct with scripture, no matter the interpretation.
