I don't know. He has not been diagnosed as insane. I would rather he be locked up than on the streets where he can injure other people.

I have not heard that he has done violence to anybody - except perhaps to himself. Why do you fear for other people's safety?

What do you think about President Obama granting pardons before he exits his Presidency? In one day he pardoned 231 criminals.

For me, I'm bothered by it. These are criminals that went before a court and a judge and received a sentence. It's like our justice system doesn't matter to the President and is more like an action to bring popularity to himself.

Just because someone does something doesn't make them a "criminal". I dislike labels anyways. These people were given unfair sentences inho. I'm very glad Obama did a great thing for them! Yay! Obama!

No but sadly in the US that is now the answer since the assylums have been pretty much done away with

Have you ever heard of murder/suicide? The man/woman committed high treason, attempted suicide,is unhappy about the gender he/she was born in, (in my opinion that makes him highly confused and unstable mentally). Living in the U.S. with people beserking and killing folks and themselves for seeming no reason, I think about these things, especially about someone as unstable as this man/woman.

This has become a presidential tradition. I don't know how far back it goes. I find it disturbing - especially how they do it en masse at the very last minute, so that it goes under the radar and they aren't held accountable for these actions. I'm not opposed to the concept here (it's part of our "checks and balances" foundation of the government) but it should be RARE and it should be something for which the President is accountable and for which he should have a solid reason.
