New Heaven

What does this mean exactly? What is Heaven now if there is a new Heaven?

2 Peter 3:11-13 You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

When Christ returns on Judgment Day, things are going to change

At the end of Revelation, GOD makes his dwelling in the New Jerusalem with men and is the light that illuminates the city. Since Heaven is where GOD is, I believe that there is no longer a distinction between Heaven and Earth. The old Heaven (dwelling of GOD) and the old Earth (dwelling of men) are no longer necessary when God dwells with men, so He creates a new “HEAVEN AND EARTH” (combined) where GOD and men can dwell together.

I don't think we really realize what it means and maybe we can't. One thing is for sure that it is far greater than we can imagine.
