My grandpa used to smoke pipes and had a lot of different ones that he kept in a carousel type of holder. When he passed away, each of the grandchildren got one of the pipes.

A few years ago, my dad brought over a clock that had been in his family for a hundred years. I had forgotten that it was near the area where my grandpa sat until this year when the pipe smell would come wafting by where I'm sitting at my computer. I don't know why I never smelled it until this year? It's definitely coming from the clock!

What memories you are reminded to cherish through the clock. Not sure why after a long time though.

It's very possible my stupid nose was too stuffed for those other years to smell anything? LOL I really don't know. Oh, something just came to me. I used to have a different candle sitting in front of it, so maybe that one masked the scent? That's probably it. I used up that candle and have a new one now.
