I've never owned an unreliable car. I've been blessed to own extremely reliable, durable cars.

Toyota Camry
Toyota Corrolla (actually, my wife's car)
Mazda Miata
Honda Pilot (current)
Subaru Forester (current)

Nothin' went wrong with any of them...
So far, anyway.

I think it was a Daihatsu. We bought it 2nd hand and the guy said he lost the book and we were naive, as was my dad. Only my ex's dad was smart, cause he was a car mechanic, but he was too timid to advise us to not do it. Needed a new motor twice. In the end it smoked like an idiot. Blue smoke came out of it when you drove and at the hospital, visiting his dad, someone broke into it and stole the radio and ruined the windows and then we had enough of it and bought an Opel Astra.

I've never had a car that was unreliable. The only time I had trouble was when I foolishly took my car to a main dealer for a service and they used third party components. An air filter that didn't fit and a rubber gasket that had perished. Not surprisingly my car had problems until a mechanically inclined friend looked at it and saw what they had done. Needless to say I never went back to that dealer. More annoyingly for them, neither did my parents (who both drove the same make car as me, and had previously been good customers of the dealership).

A Chevy Monza. It had to be towed the first night I had it. I‘d driven it off the lot only maybe a couple hours before.
