People who leave their location on their phone turned on at all times, why?

It helps Google find nearby things when you need them like restaurants or gas stations.

I use my phone to navigate sometimes. Other times there are a few geolocation type games I use to while away some time. My phone is set up so my wife can see where I am, which also needs location turned on.

Turning off location doesn't mean I can't be located, I just can't be located by the people I might want to locate me.
