What are some legitimate charities? Which ones spend too much on advertising? Which ones have high earning CEOs? I'm really curious about this.

I didn't see the ASPCA or Humane Society of the US on their but I have belonged to both at one time.

In Australia some of the health related charities expend 2% to 3% of their income on administration and fund raising while charities associated with children and poverty (at home and overseas) spend between 22% and 26% on the same.
